2004-2008 Income Tax Assistance
If you or your household earned less than $52,000, VITA volunteers in Phoenix are ready to help you with free Federal and Arizona State tax preparation for the current and previous tax years from 2004 through 2008.
Those seeking assistance should bring ALL of the following:
- Social Security cards and/or ITIN cards or letters for everyone listed on the returns. Actual cards must be shown. Copies of cards or simply submitting the card numbers will not be accepted!
- Photo ID for the primary filer and/or spouse
- All documents showing income earned for the current year and appropriate tax year(s) you want filed. Documents include W-2 forms, 1099 forms, 1099-R forms, Social Security benefits statements, etc.
- Information for all other income during the appropriate tax year(s)
- Information for all deductions and/or credits during the appropriate tax year(s)
- Any information received from the Internal Revenue Service or Arizona Department of Revenue
For those who are filing as Married filing joint returns, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms.
People will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis at the following Phoenix locations:
