Benefits at a glance. What we offer our team:

We offer five different medical insurance plans, including plans where CIR pays all of the premium in addition to the entire deductible for you via a Health Savings Account (HSA) for your spouse/domestic partner, and children, leaving our employees paying zero for some of our plans.

Medical Insurance Plan Options:

  • Kaiser high deductible + HSA (employer-paid premium, no premium cost to the employee)
  • Aetna HDHP + HSA (employer-paid premium, no premium cost to the employee)
  • Kaiser HMO (you may incur a premium based upon your dependent selection)
  • Aetna PPO 750-90% (you may incur a premium based upon your dependent selection)
  • Aetna 0-100% 20-40 (your premium will vary based upon your dependent selection)

CIR pays the premiums for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and children for Dental (through Guardian) and Vision (through VSP), ensuring you have no premium cost

We provide the following employer-paid insurance:

  • Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance 
  • Long-term disability insurance

We also offer:

  • “Help Me Choose”: benefits decision support
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • LifeMart discounts
  • As a nonprofit, we qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program

We offer the following voluntary coverage you can add:

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA): CIR pays $200 a year
